About
Hi everyone! Welcome to my blog:) A bit about me:
Born and raised in Chile, I am grateful to have studied and explored a bunch of different places in the past six years.
I finalized my high school education at UWC East Africa in Tanzania in 2021, where I lived for two years. Then I moved to the U.S., where I earned my college degree in Geography with a minor in Africana and Latin American Studies from Colgate University. During my time at Colgate, I also had the opportunity to study abroad with SIT Peru "Indigenous Peoples and Globalization" and to spend two months doing an internship in GIS and conservation in South Africa.
Now, I am beginning a 6-month fellowship in Costa Rica.
As a 2025–2026 PiLA Fellow, I'm joining the Osa Conservation team located in the Osa Peninsula, as a Rainforest Vertical Stratification Fellow.
I am excited to explore the world of conservation in Latin America, the region of my roots, and to share more about my journey and stories here.
