Since our school closed in March 2020 due to the rapid spread of COVID, we have had to adapt and embrace our current circumstances. Facing uncertainty, confusion and a bit of homesickness coming and going.
We are currently 18 students that couldn't return home, and so we are all staying on campus, looking forward to seeing all of our friends and families soon again.
Despite the initial chaos, we have found powerful teachings and a wonderful community coming together in the midst of it all. Making new friendships and appreciating the small things of living. Cultivating gratitude, kindness and compassion with one another and the rest of the world.
I feel truly grateful to have a place to stay, wonderful friends and the support of those around me. Making memories I will always carry with me anywhere I go.
